Three years have passed since the launch of the first issue of INVADE magazine and we can say that this was a successful bet in the dissemination of the best that can be seen and experienced in the territory of the Lines of Torres Vedras.

The magazine, bilingual and distributed free of charge, has been a privileged means of bringing to everyone's knowledge an extraordinary tourist product that combines the history and identity of the heritage of the Lines of Torres Vedras, its events, its landscape, its gastronomy, its wines, its sports activities, and many other offers available in the places where we changed Napoleon's destiny and where we invite you to change yours.

One of the main objectives of the magazine has been to show the region's various attractions, in close collaboration with economic agents who, anchored in Cultural and Military Tourism, can contribute to reducing seasonality and showing that they have here a family friendly destination that can be enjoyed throughout the year. It is, therefore, a differentiated and always surprising heritage experience of great places to go and be with the family.

But because the theme of the French Invasions, which includes the Lines of Torres Vedras, is transversal to the country, the Historical Route of the Lines of Torres Vedras (iHRHLT) has been working with Turismo de Portugal and with other municipalities with a view to creating Napoleonic itineraries that can be promoted nationally and internationally.

Also, since last July, the Historical Route of the Lines of Torres Vedras is pleased to have two new partners: the municipality of Bombarral and the municipality of Lourinhã; and, since September, the RHLT is vice-president of the European Federation of Napoleonic Cities, which manages the European Destination Napoleon itinerary.

We are, therefore, convinced that, in collaboration with the various partners, we will be able to affirm a destination that deserves to be known and visited.
